Is it me but it seems there are a total lack of dog bins around Hednesford? and also rubbish bins .
About the lights everyone is getting over excited about. The Militry have done many test for many different types or craft, from air, sea to land. Also their are many police helecopters near by, also a local air feild and birmingham airport. I dont belive for one moment they are UFO's, just wishfull and dull thinking

When are Cannock police going to do something about the race track that is Eastern way? Someone died this week, he was driving a hot hatch. Surely it's about time they installed cameras?

Has anyone else head anything about the Pogues concert in Lichfield on September 7th being cancelled?
As I've never seen any publicity for it I can't say it's a huge surprise - plus it was SUPPOSED to be organised by the same peple that have done the Burntwood Wakes, and look how well that's sold this year ...

The St Johns Road public footpath should definitely be closed. The only justification for keeping it open is if the police can GUARANTEE that the appalling behaviour that local children are having to put up with will be prevented. There are far too many people around here (and I am Cannock born and bred) who have a chip on their shoulder about Chase Academy being an independant school. Believe me, if this was happening to any other local school residents and parents would be up in arms and the path would soon be closed. The council need to prove they are not treating the young people who attend the school any differently from other pupils in the area.
replying to Dawn from hednesford i`ve just moved into the area and it seems the new builds set for Hednesford Pye Green Valley is the talk of the town, and local don`t seem happy at all, mind you either am i. also seems like some money needs spending on Hednesford town lovely atmosphere from the shops but so run down maybe the council need to concentrate on building the town back first.
I am disgusted with the report in the paper last week about the housing plans for Pye Green Valley. Do the councillors know what is happening? One says that the road should not come out onto the Green Heath Road and the other says it will. The original plans said that the road would come out by the jet garage. The council does not listen to the public as we have been objecting to this development for years. During the election the Labour councillors stated that the plans had been approved by a tori/lib dem alliance and guess what the tori's said it was due to a labour/lib dem alliance and the lib dem's well we heard nothing from them at all. As a resident on the Green Heath Road I am appalled by the lack of consideration from the council to tax payers and their opinions. I agree with Cllr Annie Turville that there is far too much traffic on the Green Heath Road.
Did anyone see three bright lights in an evenly spaced diagional line, low in the sky on Tues 23rd May at around 10.50pm. We watched these still, bright lights over a period of about 10 -15 mins as they slowly dropped out of sight behind houses. They appeared to be over Chasetown/Brownhills from our position in Chase Terrace Burntwood

I don't think smokers should be allowed to smoke in their cars. I used to smoke and the amount of wayward fag ends and lapses of concentration were nobody's business. Concentrate on driving not smoking. Life's too short!

I can't believe it's ok for babies as young as 4 months old to have their ears pierced. Parents who pay to have holes punched in their children's ears are committing a form of abuse. What if in later life the kids don't want it? It's disgusting and *should* be banned.
